Do/can powdercoaters do steering wheels? I have an aftermarket shutt wheel I want done in bronze to match my blox shifter, didn't know if they could because of the leather.

My un-professional guess would be that if you removed everything down to bare metal then yes.

If leather can withstand 350-370 F for about 15 min, then yes.

My guess would be no, most fabrics be it leather or not would burst into flames at those kind of temps.

except that they use leather gloves for welding, and I've pick up some hot stuff. That being said, I don't think that the leather on the steering wheel is actual leather. It doesn't feel like it to me.

Remove all of the fabric, powder coat the metal and then send it off to JPM Coachworks for a new look to match the fabric in the car. That would be the way to do it, but it may cost more than the actual purchase of the wheel.
