Considering buying a used GSR IX

New to the Evo scene, I've been interested in one for a while now. Took this one out for a test drive today, clean title and dealer claims everything runs well but anything to be overly concerned about at 97k? I'm going back to the dealership tomorrow to go over possible pricing, I might try to talk him down to 18.5. The price seems to be pretty fair for the condition in my location (Seattle, WA). Thanks!

I would try to see what maintenance if any has been competed since it's due for a new timing belt and water pump soon. I noticed it also has the MR BBS wheels and it has an aftermarket manifold. It looks like it's been lowered as well.

Looks very clean and well taken care of. I'd say if you can him down to 18k its a fair price. But 18.5 isn't horrible either. There's not many of these puppies around anymore, especially clean ones.

Wow that looks super clean! If that was in my area I would be all over it! I also seen aftermarket intake, manifold, MR wheels(look great), and aftermarket vortex generator.

I'm a bit confused, it happens a lot, but it seems like it's got some swapped over parts. BBS rims, vortex generator, leather seats, & are those pedals stock for the 9's? Not that these are bad things, just not stock GSR parts.
A quick glance at KBB has the car at $16000, which would have me fighting the price. Of course it's at a dealer which would have me fighting no matter what KBB has it at. See if you can find one of the local guys/gals to give you their opinion in person.

They aren't as rare as it may seem. If this isn't the one you really want, just wait a few days and something even nicer, with lower miles, and for less $$ will pop up. Better to wait than have one pop up the day after you got a car that was almost exactly what you wanted.

KBB really is crap, NADA is what dealers use and I'd suggest most ppl start using it too so we dont drive the price of these cars into DSM territory.
