I am looking for something like this as well. I watched the how-to install video. But it leaves out what to do with your current exhaust. At what point in the exhaust do you cut and install it?

You don't have to cut anything It will install anywhere you want in your exhaust you just need to be next to a connecting point so that you can reach the screws to install the butterfly plate.

Oh! well looks like I can install it right after my test pipe then. Pretty sweet.

I love this idea, I hate loud exhaust but want the power only when I need it so I had MAP build me a 3", v-band CBE with a Varex muffler 3 years ago and I love it. If this damper was available back then, I would have definitely taken the ~$750 cheaper route.

No we have not yet done any testing, primarily because it will vary based on vehicle. Ultimately, it is not intended to be used during WOT. When I had something similar on my personal car I drove around with it open 95% of the time, only when I came into my neighborhood or saw the police would I close it lol

I do the same on mine around cops, I leave it open on the highway and when one cruises by, I close it. Still wanting to set up a switch in car to use instead of the remote but not sure how to.
