Well it is true, the evo would whoop most, if not all cars on the track. It did seem that it had a bad launch on this drag.

 

thats exactly what I said, if you watch the ams evo, and the buschur evo there launches are very aggressive

 

how about a mitsu powered fox body:

 

An evo making the power necessary to go 8's, that's set up for drag and having no areo would be just as worthless on a road course as the mustang.

 

Ding ding. We have a winner. A mustang set up for road racing would run circles around an Evo built for drag on road course, and vice versa.

 

You can't drag race lose and then turn around and say well if we were on some turns the outcome would be different.

If you are drag racing then thats it.......you are just drag racing. There is not; "well if [insert some specific situation or different racing scenario here] happened then the outcome would be different".

Evo's are great all around cars out of the box and with a little bit more money thrown at them they are amazing......once you start going 8 seconds in the quarter and the amount of money that takes to do.......there are a ton of other platforms that can do amazing things.

BTW my car with over 700 scares the dog**** of of me just hauling *** to get on the highway. I don't think a 8 second evo is going to be great on a road course.
