logging aem uego analog gauge?

Being an analog gauge, I'm told I can't use a serial cable like the guys with the digital gauges can. I want to wire into rear o2 for logging, do I just wire lambda+ to o2 positive and lambda - to o2 negative? I haven't found an Evo 8/9 specific info on this. Plenty of Evo x but that doesn't really help, I'm not sure how similar they are.

Yep, everything is about digital
Just have to wire in both +/- wires to the two ecu wires and you'll be all set.
I used 0.03913*x+8.5 for evoscan and it is just about perfect.

I think and keep in mind I have a digital one when I say this but it works on the same principle just voltage sent from the sensor to they gauge that powers the stepper motor. It should have a blue wire on the harness which is for serial logging. Spoolinup makes a cable for this that you wire to the blue wire and a ground source then plug into computer for logging.

Nope no blue, red black white pink grey and brown I believe are my colors. I've read the serial cable doesn't work for my setup. I was going to order one off street tuned but it says on there only will work for digital gauges.

Grey wire should be your wire that u connect to blue, aem says it's for serial logging jus like digital and spoolinup says it works with them just to give more options.

Never mind white is output + and brown is output - and both must be used to get accurate readings blah blah blah something about a power ground which I'm not sure if that means a regular ground or what.

I don't know where you got the "flashing and what not" idea. I have a digital boost and afr gauge on my steering column and I don't even notice them unless I want to see what's going on.

I get that people like different things but I think you have the wrong idea about the digital gauges and you could save yourself some trouble.

Unless you like analog the way some people like vinyl....I can't help you with that.

I do like the analog setup visually, but more than that its already paid for and installed. If I can make it work, I'm going to before buying a different one.

I agree with you hate the digital gauges, I have both aem analog gauges. Unfortunately I can't help you haven't tried to wire them for logging.

If you still need the wire colors I can go take a look at how mine is hooked up in a little bit.

If you get the chance id appreciate it! Won't be wiring it in today, 30 degrees and snow. Staying warm and drinking beer instead haha!

When I get it done I'll let ya know how it works so when you need to log you'll have a good reference point

I forgot how well I sealed everything up
Looking at the schematic though, you want to run your +White from the gauge to the White wire, and the -Brown from the gauge to the Black wire and you'll be all set.

Again I used the value up above for evoscan and it works great; You'll see most people swearing by +9 and +10 but that seems to be pretty far off... probably different since everyone else uses the digital gauge, unless mine is just wonky.
