hey guys, after owning my 03 tb evo gsr for 3 years, I decided to move on. I actually sold the evo originally without the thought of buying another car, but as a true enthusiast, I could not resist.

my beloved 700whp evo:





sold her and bought this, 383 chevy stroker 71 Datsun 240z:





the z was nice to look at, but I simply did not get enjoyment out of driving her, so after only 5 months of ownership, sold her.

...and after several months of searching, I decided on this...95 e36 m3.

 

nice! i miss my e36 m3, should have never sold it.

 

Looks like a nice ride. I can see it being a more all around enjoyable than a 700hp evo lol.

 

That 240Z is beautiful. Really attractive car. I'm not a big Bimmer fan, but the E36 can be really fast in the right hands. Any mod plans? Daily driver? Track ****?

the z definitely turned heads. not sure if it was because it was a car you don't see every day or because of how freaking loud the cammed 383 stroker was

as far as mods go for the e36....

 

So its a turbo M3? More info?

I don't think I could see myself driving a BMW, even if they are really nice cars. As long as you're happy that's all that matters.

 

I was telling my buddy tonight how the one car I previously owned that was almost as fun as the evo was an e36 m3. Nice pick up, gotta love a turbo I6

 

You probably got rid of the 240 because it was an abomination. I'm sure that heavy iron block engine made it handle like crap. Shame really that such a nice car was ruined with an engine swap.

 

I agree. I bought the car with the premise that it would just be a "cruiser." After several drives, I missed being able to turn on a dime and actually shift through the gears (the z of course had a automatic tranny w/ the swap).
