I've seen multiple answers, some say eisen grey some say some purple mica grey color. Does anyone know what it is and what the paint code is?

Incorrect, "Purple Gray Mica" is just another name for the body color we call "Graphite Grey"

Both share the same paint code A39 (CMA1039)

The above information has been posted numerous times on this site as fact, and it is 100% completely without a doubt incorrect. Yet it has been repeated on this site so many times that people don't question it.

I have a Graphite Grey Evo with a factory painted JDM bumper, and it is definately different.

The lower part of the JDM bumper is darker, and without the purple hue. It is a mica however.

Here is a picture of an OEM Graphite Grey JDM bumpter... notice in the licence plate area at the style line. You can see the different hue. They are both at the same angle, so you can't say it's the light making it darker.

There is a thread on here that says that it's a custom blend that mitsu japan did. However I know corporate thinking, and I highly doubt that is the case. I don't KNOW, but I think it is Eisen Gray.

looks DAMN close.

If you are painting a new bumper, I say paint it eison grey and be done with it. If you are stone chip repairing, then good luck... Then again, I would paint the whole lower area eison grey and not look back.

I saw the code a few years back on this site.
A good search should find it.

Its definitely not graphite grey(A39) I personally mix automotive paint and still have no clue as to what code it is, however any reputable paint shop can color match that part using the color charts that they have and can get the closest possible match.
