So it was you that deleted my post? I wasn't mad or anything, just a bit surprised. And no it wasn't me guys, I'm not trying to take advantage of anyone, cause i was/am in serious need of help. Now i understand why you guys acted the way you did.

 

Yep. I never did see your follow-up post and I apologize for not having the time to send you a courtesy PM.

I spend a lot of time trying to protect the community from itself, so quite often things get lost in the shuffle. It's also quite hard to tell a genuine I need help post vs someone looking to take advantage of the community.

In all honesty, you might want to start local first.

Alright. Well thanks for clearing up the air, i was wondering what was going on. And I already had that idea of starting local. Been looking as far as Atlanta. I found a guy there parting his evo, so that might work somehow, though he only has bigger parts and i will have to drive there if i want them (and pay him, they're not free). It's just a little more rare to see evos here than other states. Most people that live here are retired and old haha. Thanks again for explaining.

 

Well the guy deleted his profile on here. His name is Evan he is supposed to have a yellow ix mr. The reason why I helped out is he was saying how he is young and the seller f***ed him over and the car has all of these problems so being that I'm young also and been f***ed over on my 03 cobra I'm happy to help when I can.

It's unfortunate that people like this ruin it for newer guys that join up, like me. I'm not looking for handouts, but who knows... I may need more than info from this board some day.

I operate from the principle that people are generally *******s and work backwards. That way its either "I knew that was gonna happen" or "man that girl/guy was actually a good person"

Sucks to see stuff like this, this is why I keep my generosity local and to people I know well. I've given away anything from random assorted fasteners all the way up to a front motor mount with no issues.
