Grounding kit?

Does anyone out there still make one or do I have to make my own?

I made my own. Basically I just upgraded a few of the oem ground wires to some beefy 4Ga. It cost me a fraction of what a kit sells but unless you have some issues I don't think you will notice much of a difference. I mostly did it just because I had some extra cables and figured why not.

I did mine in some 0/0 awg, was it overkill, probably. But what I do know is that my autozone alt has lasted a year and a half almost 2 and it was cheaper than buying a premade kit.

What kinda connectors did you guys use especially 0 gauge... copper welding connectors or fancier audio connectors.
Those that have pics of what attachment points they used would be great to post up!
I have completely weird electrical problems that happen a few times then go away and havn't come back but then a new elec prob pops up.

I just used copper audio connectors, and I used the how to for it in the how to section because it gave lengths of cable needed and the connection points.

I don't think theres much benefit at all imo. Even when I upgraded mine I cant say I noticed anything different. I didn't buy a kit, I already had some cables and connectors laying around, and did it for the hell of it to see if there really would be a benefit. To no surprise, no really benefit gained. The beefy ground cables look cool though, and isn't that what its really all about

Yeah its definitely not a power mod type deal. Its kinda along the lines of the fluidampr, people think it does something and it sounds good in theory but there's no real proof. All I now is that I've had an autozone alternator in my car for a year and a half now and haven't had it crap out. I've heard some real horror stories about them not lasting more than a month on our cars, so I'll be keeping mine and buying a fluidampr this payday haha.

Ill see what I can dig up. I didn't add any more grounds but rather upgraded the stock ones, like the one on the intake manifold, added extra grounds to my relocated acd pump and battery. I also replaced some of the wiring that goes to the oem prefuse at the positive battery post with some beefier cables.

Replacing the factory ground wires with 6-8ga doesn't hurt, I also sanded down the paint on all the grounding locations under the hood. Racing Line makes a nice setup that I use on my Altima, here's a link

Also check out the under hood, trunk, and interior lighting that can easily be used in an Evo, looks and works great in the Altima.
