There is a big controversy around the NET about the drives driving behavior though...

 

Seen this numerous times as well

The EVO was drifting/power sliding all the way BEFORE the last corner, which he just turn-in too quick and lost grip. Since this video was shot in a driving school. I think it might not be the "drifter" who crash the car, but someone else did. The guy who crashed it didn't drift at the turn right before the crash Just my view

 

IIRC, in one of the previous posts on this topic, someone mentioned that the RS was equipped with light truck tires to slide easier... well right up until the front left blowout. Doh!

 

The guy seemed like he was all over the track, more than he should have been and he lost control

 

dang.. style points for landing right side up, though
