Unusual noise

I recently cleaned my MAF and re gapped my spark plugs. Now when my car is running I can hear a faint high pitched noise. It sounds just like that noise you hear sometimes after being exposed to loud noise. (ears ringing) it stays constant but dips a bit when the idle does. I can't tell exactly where it is coming from, but I can hear it while inside the car. Any ideas what it could be?

Car has:
Injen intake and IC pipes.
Forge WGA
Sheptrans 5 speed
AEM 380lph fuel pump
No tune

Sounds like you are getting electrical feedback. It's no coming from you radio speakers by chance is it? You may need a stethescope and listen around under the hood to try and locate it if you can confirm its not from inside the car. Does it do it with the key on too or does the engine have to be running? Maybe air whistling from your intake?

Engine must be running to hear the noise. It's def not the speakers. If I stand in front with hood open I can still hear it. Just can't pinpoint the source.

My Walbro makes noise from time to time....usually when low on fuel but not always. It whines...but you hear it coming from the rear, clear as day.

The only noise I can think of that makes a ear ringing sound is either the fuel pump or when you leave the lights on.

I know the relay for my aftermarket instrument cluster overlays has a constant high pitch noise. It becomes more pronounced the brighter I set the overlays (more voltage?). Not sure if that helps, but perhaps you have a relay going bad.

I have Tinnitus, so I know exactly what kind of noise you are talking about.

I had a AEM 340 fuel pump in my s2000, and it was super whiney. Your fuel pump is a good argument. Thore's argument is a possibility as well.
