"After a few months of thinking I've decided to post my Evo for sale. Car was involved in an accident (hit a tree at about 25-30 mph)

I had the car appraised at a local body shop to fix the damage and it is about $5,000 for parts. I have started buying new parts for the car which will be included with the sale of the vehicle (about $2,000 worth of parts)

Price is OBO but don't be rediculous.

2011 EVO X SSS clean title
Car only has 18,5xxx miles. Motor runs amazin and pulls fast. There isn't any dammage to the frame of the vehicle. Only damage is on the front passenger core support. Also had a body shop quote me $800 labor and $450 for brand new core support.

22k plus 2k in parts he has already and +3k in 'needed parts'

youd be at 25k out of pocket.. and for 25k.. you could get any other non crashed 10.. haha hes nuts

 

Damn. There's an Evo in my area's CL right now with 10k+ miles for the same price... except it's not, you know, mangled.

I don't think I would pay $22k in the first place let alone his "it'll buff out" damage.

He must have got the quote done at Maaco....

 

That's an easy 10-12k in damage. Worse depending on the extent of the frame rail damage ... if the core support is jacked up, it is unlikely that rail doesn't need pulling at least.

I've bought similar damage ones for 8k, his price sounds legit for sure!

 

good luck. you'd be better off fixing and trying to sell it then. and it wont sell for the 25k you are asking.

these cars can be bought in the 20s, even SSS package if you look hard enough lol for a wrecked one there is one with minimal damage on ebay for 12k, still runs just needs IC piping to actually drive
