For those with mishimoto rad

What cap can I swap it out with? I've heard bad things about the mishimoto cap and I want to replace it. OEM won't fit so what other options do I have? Thanks

Unless they've changed their design I can not get the cap to fit whatsoever.

Too many stories of them leaking pressure and popping off.

Not that I'm aware of... I have used the OEM cap on the Mishimoto without any problems. It's a tight fit, but it fits.

Hey guys,

We recently revised our radiator cap design with better quality sealing materials. You should not have any problems with the cap included with the radiator. If so, please shoot us a PM so we can figure out what the issue may be!

Thanks

What about people with older versions of your radiators that have the old caps?

Sorry to thread jack, I just blew the top of my stock radiator out today. Is this mishimoto radiator a good replacement? They appear to be 270 on eBay, is that the going rate?

Absolutely. As long as you have proof of purchase for the radiator, our warranty team will be happy to assist.
