I've been doing some searching on JDM heads/tails, I'm trying to figure out whether I want to go JDM VIII or IX..

I really like the flat/matte look of the VIII's but I can't seem to find a picture of the projector that shows it clearly. Do the JDM VIII's have the bluish projector like the JDM/USDM IX's?

I know the USDM VIII's are clear, not bluish, it almost looks like the USDM VIII's got the JDM VII's heads minus the bottom amber insert.

I really prefer the bluish projector though. I have seen a few pictures were the projector on the JDM VIII's did look bluish but it almost looked like camera flash reflection.

If someone could clear this up for me I'd appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Perfect thread guys! Thank you again! The JDM VIII's definitely share the same projector as the JDM/USDM IX's.

So now it's time to choose between looks (the VIII looks mean) and rarity (we all know there's less JDM IX heads here).

Totally personal preference - but the gloss looks like there is more detail to it. I prefer that housing's look.
