Evo good first car?
You gotta remember these cars use to be homologated rally cars. If you want mad straight line performance you should go buy a muscle car. These things are built for the canyons and carving corners.
Agreed, I did not buy my Evo for a drag car. I was just trying to make the point they are not fast in a straight line. They were not designed for 1/4 mile racing. Everyone makes it seem like an Evo is "so fast it is dangerous" and that is simply not true. An Evo would be a great first car, just do not take your first off ramp at 100+mph
my man humble down and dont try to act hard over the internet, i said it was a joke all you had to say was its all good and leave like that. I'm gonna ignore your little remark but you need to learn to have a little bit more respect towards people

You talking about it being not fast in a straight line in your previous threads, just sounded like you were whinging.
They are banned here in Aust for new drivers.. not because its a Lamborghini Aventador, or a Bugatti Veyron… its because that it has the capability of fast acceleration with its turbo… it pushes you to do stupid things. (we all do stupid things with the car… flooring it etc)
and a fresh driver doing these "stupid things" not only can, cost themselves, but others on the road also.
I think by asking people if its the right car for you, shows that you're not ready. You def have the responsibility and sense to take care of it if you spend the last 6 years saving up for one. I dont see how asking people who dont know you if it will be a good car for you.
gl anyways, congratz if youre gonna get one.

Definitely not. I bought an evo for my 2nd car and that was a huge mistake. Start off with less car and learn as much as you can until the time is right for an evo in your life. Trust me these cars are not your everyday hondas.
I've wanted an Evo for the last ten years, but I'm SO glad it took me this long to get one.
One owner, in some online review, said Subarus were more of the relaxed car while it takes someone who really enjoys driving to own an Evo.
