I had bought a complete motor and transmission from tiger Japanese and I want to say it is either a 4-6 transmission. I currently have an 8 motor and I am trying to figure out if I can put that transmission on the motor. The transmission is identical to the 8 trans but I don't know if the gears are the same. will someone enlighten me with knowledge.

 

Yes they are interchangeable.

There are some slight difference internally in regards to ratios and synchros but nothing that will stop it working across the platforms.
