EVO 8 - Stalling issue

EVO 8 - Stalling issue
Hello,
I recently upgraded my EVO 8 RS with some new parts. I am working on getting it tuned now but for some reason it keeps stalling on me. Just trying to get any input to check things. At first it seemed to only stall in the morning and nights but now it seems to stall whenever it feels like it. It stalls while sitting at stop signs/lights and also sometimes when downshift from like 3rd to second. I am taking it to a good friend who is amazing with EVO's tomorrow to do a boost leak check but would like to know if anyone else experience this issue and knows a fix so I can guide him in the right direction.
My tuner suggested:
1. make sure timing marks are aligned and good
2. Make sure TPS isnt flipped 180 deg out. (the plug should face to the driver side)
3. boost leak test as you suggested although doubt it will make the car stall..
4. make sure blow off valve is not floating at idle. make sure it stays closed.
