non hid headlight on 03 evo?

Well my 03 evo 8 right now has both headlights broken and i mean smashed and mounting tabs broken so i need some new ones but i really don't want to pay $2000 each for then and i can't find anyone selling theirs. I was wondering if it was possible to swap non hid evo headlights into it and what i would have to do?

putting a non-hid headlight on hid evo your gonna have to do alot of wiring and splicing and its also stupid evos with halogen looks so ugly. your better off searching on ebay or CL for used pair of HID headlights or buy a new set at lancershop

Can be done, I had non HID headlights on my 03 but you will need to customize, or make your own wiring harness to the low beams. The indicators, parking lights, and high beams will work with the harness from your HIDs. When I installed my non-HID lights I ran wires from the low beam bulbs directly to the low beam fuse located in the engine compartment fuse box. You will also need a ground from each low beam bulb which can be ran anywhere to the chassis. IMO it's easier then splicing your factory harness.

Stick with HIDS, wiring would be more of a pin than it's worth
