Few problems with my evo! Help please

Problem#1 breaks pulsate when breaking from 40+ mph I've changed the pads and rotors multiple times and the problem still continues. I'm kinda leaning toward a caliper problem at this point.

Problem #2 when it pours outside. Something gets wet and makes a really loud wine noise... And it only happens when it rains..Anyone ever encountered this problem before?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks guys

Problem one you may have a bad wheel bearing.
Problem two need to explain more where you hear the wine.

Also when it rains hard it only makes that noise every few minutes give or take so it's not consistent

The calipers probably need rebuild, the pistons are sticking and not releasing. The crazy sound when it rains is probably a mixture of your brake problems and tires. Are your tires bald or near bald? Are they summer performance tires? Summer performance tires are usually louder on wet roads

does the whine happen only when traveling at highway speeds or all the time? on the first issue have the alignment checked and likely they will tell you if the wheel bearing is going bad. don't tell them that you think it is bad or they might just want the money and agree that it is.

The wine only happens when it rains a lot and at slower speeds.. Not at highway speeds tho

Take out the back seat and have a friend drive with you. Use a screwdriver to the frame to see if the sounds is always there. I'm thinking the whine is always there, you just aren't hearing it. Water will change the characteristics of sound. Sound waves travel easier through water.

The whine could be the wheel bearing too. Jack each wheel up and check if there is any play in the wheel, if so, bad wheel bearing.

I would have the calipers rebuilt for the issue if you properly replaced the rotors and pads previously

I would rebuild the calipers and see if that takes care of problem #2

the whine when it rains..... do you have a aftermarket exhaust? I noticed mine does something similar after I upgraded the exhaust. Ended up it was rubbing(barely), so I just wrapped it up and tightened up the mounts a bit. I noticied mine only made the noise in a down pour at low speeds(25-35), if I was cruising up hill, out of boost(ex: 35mph in 4th gear)... so I would suggest using some exhaust wrap and also changing your driving habits a bit.. try to stay in the power band and out of turbo lag.

Im not saying this is the answer to your issue, but it sounds similar to mine. I hope I explained that alright. LOL
