Sputtering

I have an 05 evo 8. When I'm just cruising in any gear the car spits and sputters. I recently put new fic 1450 injectors and new tune from my tuner everything ran fine for couple months on e85 until the issue started happening. I pump it on my pump gas tune and changed the plugs still spit and sputtering. Sometimes it does it under a load. My afr are fine until it sputters then drops but comes right back. I'm thinking I have misfire. It's stock coils and wires. Please help with any suggestions. Also my tuner didn't see any changes in fuel trims, voltage or anything.

Did you do a boost leak test?

If your injectors where clogged you would see it in the fuel trims. Aside from a boost leak test you should try swapping in new spark plugs. Make sure to gap them accordingly.

I did have a couple vacuum leaks around the egr valve. So I'm wondering if maybe I have a faulty egr valve. It's not throwing any codes. I have it on my pump gas tune to clean everything out. I've also already replaced the plugs and gapped them to .22 with the vacuum leaks fixed it's still doing it. Could I have bad compression?

I have already done that also. Sense I'm doing all this stuff I'm thinking it's either A a fault injector or something mechanical

We did a smoke test found some vacuum leaks by the egr valve, fixed those but still didn't fix issues. Had to adjust tps sensor but still didn't fix the issue. I'm getting frustrated about this issue. Driving just cruising it sputters you get on it goes away. I'm going to do a leak down test and compression check. Any other suggestions

what are your fuel trims like? It could be a faulty o2 sensor causing you to go super lean/rich under closed loop (cruise) conditions. When you get on it it comes out of closed loop and reads directly from the fuel map.

Air fuel trims are perfect. Double checked last night with my tuner that's how I found out about my tps being off and we adjusted it. Long terms are spot on and short terms. Afr driving are perfect also

Yes that's correct. I'm going to buy an egr delete and see if that fixes my issue.

You could have your tuner disable EGR and see what that does.
