no problem and ya he's totally helpful but again, he can only do so much when hes slammed (one man band business) and far away from you.

my only suggestion was maybe your 3 port wasn't plugged in or hooked up wrong because I did a fail like that recently, it was unplugged lol. Plugged it in and it was like "spooooooooooooool"

so doin a boost leak test with the BRAND NEW turbo it seems its leaking at the compressor cover, as if the big c-clip isn't seated correctly... so does this mean I have to remove the whole assembly or is it possible to just slip the turbo away from the hotside? If it wasn't for bad luck...

yes I contacted them but it was 5pm on a Friday with a long weekend bc of labor day, so I doubt I hear anything til Tues. Turbo is def still under warranty ive had it a week, but if its just that clip I can reseat that myself but I was wondering if I had to pull the whole assembly.

you mean as in leaving it on the manifold? i think you can do that if it is just the clip. but, maybe you might want to just remove the whole assy just to take a 3rd, 4th or 5th lookover, whichever you are on haha. hope it spools well and pulls hard when its fixed. keep us posted.

Hey brother I think it was mentioned but I wanted to also shed light with this.

I had the "exact" problem with me ef3 a while ago I wouldn't make boost till 5500 rpm.. I ended up talking to Nate at map he had me send it in and turned out I bent a pin in the comp housing which caused me to lose preload. They fixed it under warrenty sent it back and now after 30k miles still running strong and doing work spools much much better now.

Hope that helps I'll try and find the emails between Nate and I for more info on what happened. Hope this helps brother
