EF3 slow spool HELP 2

Having a slow spool issue with my EF3 and cant figure out the problem. I have changed all exhaust gaskets, boost leak tested several times, taken the turbo apart and checked the flapper (nothing visibly bad), and the turbo spins freely. I don't know what else to check. On built 2.0 on e85, S3's, SD, megan manifold :/ and ebay o2 housing. Hybrid boost but even on WG pressure alone spool is slow. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

have you considered switching to an FP red? but on a serious note, take a log and post it to shed some light to the issue, your EF3 is not going to spool like a stock turbo.

You sure your DV/BOV isn't leaking? Checked axial play as well?

your turbo, and cams move the power band far rt....and my guess is you have the cams retarded to max HP or at the very least not advanced. Thinking too much cam and almost too much turbo making for a sluggish midrange--one thing you didn't provide is exactly how much psi you are making at full boost and what the rpm its all in....apparently its not at 5k. Pls advise.

That log is on E85?

S3 cams will move the powerband to the right but not that bad.

I think you need a better tuner...

cracked manifold was right off the bat when I told him I had a megan. I visually inspected it thoroughly and saw nothing. I purchased the cams from him as he said they would help me out greatly over the HKS 272's I had. And I asked if I could have messed up the timing to have this issue? Cars pulls smooth and hard just slow spool. So I wasn't sure if I could have caused this. Cant remember what he said? Could my timing be off slightly and cause this but still pull hard? Ill get the timing checked.
