Hello evo forumers. I am new to the forums. Been looking around a bit and getting info on the evo 9s. Got a few questions regarding the motors. I had the thought to find one in decent shape and eventually rebuild the motor for a bullet proof daily driver with a little more horse power.

If one was gonna pull a motor and have it torn down. What would be some mods worth doing while putting it back together? And what would be a rough cost for doing so? Anything else need to be rebuilt or looked over?

Also what is the average life of an evo 9 motor and drivetrain. What kind of problems arise in high mileage vehicles?
