Still no luck, I remove the codes with evoscan, as soon as I start the car, they come back. However the car literally starts right up.

This is a pic of my timing, the marks are spot on or at most a half a degree off.

That's pretty close, I don't think 4 degrees should do it, but again I don't do 2.4's so I can't say with any sincerity if that is right or not. Just remember that the cam position is what the sensor is reading, not the gear position.

I'm more perplexed by the other cars good sensor not running your car at all, that's interesting.

Yeah I dunno about that. I would try backing that cam up a bit though. Again I can't emphasize enough I don't do 2.4 builds, but to me it looks like the cam is off. Remember the sensor is reading the cam position, not the cam gear mark. So if you look at your picture, and pay attention to the 0 mark, it is not aligned. The cam gear is aligned instead. I would have to think that unless you have that 0 mark aligned you are going to be reading the cam out of position.

Here is a picture I found of someone elses 2.4 here. You'll see they have the 0 point lined up and then the adjustable part moved to compensate the belt. It almost looks like you did the opposite, like you added the gear position (direction would be irrelevant) first, then aligned to that rather than aligning the cam.
