hi guys,i have recently pikd up a 94 cc gsr 1.8 its idling rough and almost sounds like it has cams but doesnt,drives well apart from stationary idle any ideas on what it could be,ive heard its a common problem,its all mechanically stock standard apart from exhaust and pod filter,help..

 

also any good bolt on mods for a 1.8 gsr and any good performance shops that anyone knows of?tips and advice needed and appreciated,i live in brisbane australia cheers

 

To really get any decent help you will have to give us more info. Rough idle can be as simple as worn spark plugs, for example. Check the basics, plugs, ignition components, etc. If all that checks out then you can proceed to doing a compression and leakdown test, to make sure nothing is wrong fundamentally with the internals. It can also be as simple as something like the timing being off. Unless we know more info like what have you tested or replaced, it will be hard to diagnose over the internet. G/L

 

what car are you talking about????? when you say gsr like that I automatically think of a honda or acura
