i've got an hks type 1... automatically adjust idle timing by the driving conditions... drive hard... idles longer... also has somewhat of a "g-tech" built in... times 1/4 mile, 0-60, 60 ft... it doesn't hurt the car to have it... =)

Uh, dude...leaving the engine running is 100% not compatible with leaving the car in gear when you park...

i said no b/c water cooled turbos dont need much to cool down. Plus if I know I am coming to my destination I am taking it easy to allow the airflow to help cool things down a bit more.

I have the HKS Type-1 as well... For the extra features it gives you why not? It looks good and helps me for my long highway trips to school. After I get off the highway my school is right there and it's time to shut it off, so idling is nice to have.

Plus let's face it, they look cool. Mine goes from bright blue to red as it counts down. It has a 2-mode shift light (not good for day time, almost uselss), peak speed, peak rpm, and diff accel times. For 100 bucks for such a simple mod to me it was worth it.

Even though most say it is not necesary, I think it is worth it even if just a little to save your precious car, it looks cool, its cheap and easy to install... I have the type 0 HKS and it works great and It took me only an hour, o ya get the harness, makes life easy...I have pic of my install on my EVOm profile, check it ouyt.

yeh, back from the dead.

I couldn't do the whole wait in the car while I needed to pee real bad, so got the TT, HKS type 0.

I'm actually glad I got it now the weather is cold. you could use to heat the car up in the morning without leaving the car in.
