Hi everyone,

I'm located in inwood wv. I need a local enthusiast to come check out my evo 8 and I can throw you some bills. I'm tired of researching and trouble shooting this problem. I can not go wot it bucks and breaks up into boost. It will do half throttle at about 10 to 12 psi. Anything over that it bucks and hits a brick wall. All I have is a full exhaust and test pipe. Ran great til I put a MBC on it and now I have this problem even after returning it all back to stock. I would really like someone that's knows this car to check it out for me in the northern va or southern md area. It's driving me crazy I just want to drive my car normally. i believe there are a couple of shops in the northern virginia area. give them a shout to see if they can help you over the phone. if so you might just drive nicely there..... is the stock boost pill still there?

 

I haven't taken anything off. To my knowledge it is still there. It ran perfectly fine until I put the MBC on and it fuel cut at 19psi.Ever since it'll fuel cut at 15psi around half throttle. Since then I haven't laid into it at all. Figured it wasn't a good idea. Put everything back to stock besides the exhaust. And still does the same thing. I figured it would've gone back to normal but it hasn't. It's my first boosted car and I don't want to do anything to make it worse. I'm honestly not trying to build this car rediculous fast or anything. I just want it to be back to normal.

Hey bud, your car probably needs a severe tune. I would recommend moore automotive in fairfax.
