intro to forum and some questions.

Hello im new to this forum and in the current search for a Evo 8. I have found one in my price range the car has a aftermarket manifold, turbo back exhaust, possibly cams, forge blowoff valve larger injectors *not sure on size but they are prescion* and clutch. The car has 109k miles it starts up runs great idles nice and no smoke. My concern when driving the car is i noticed that shifting from 4-5th and downshifting from 5-4th the car will grind. If i double clutch it wont do it. Ive been reading that people are having this issue and there was a TSB about it. The car is $12k but was wondering if this something internal with the transmission or could this need a clutch adjustment or new master slave and throw out bearing and a fluid flush. Another thing is when full throttle the car seema very hesitant and i can here the bov fluttering when going WOT. i thought that it needs a tune because of the larger injectors but not 100% I dont mind doing some minor work to the car with bolt ons, but a whole transmission swap to the car is not what im wanting to do. Any info on this would be much appreciated im not looking to jump on the first car i find but as of now its been one of the only evos ive been able to find in my price range in central columbus. In the last couple months. thanks again.
