At the end of the day it's just piping. Don't see why an ebay exhaust would be any worse than a big name exhaust using the same material.

Well it used to be fitment and weld-quality was a questionable factor to buy higher quality pieces. But with what I have and can see (and hear), the right eBay seller out there are selling some very tempting pieces now-a-days. Sure you might not have the greedy name and the rolled-tip look, but for the money I can't seem to justify buying somebody's used and hacked name-brand exhaust when I can get a brand new one with the same quality and sound for a fraction of the cost.

so ebay sellers usually discern from non-acd and acd downpipes? (what the difference anyways?)

and what dp do i have to get if i have an acd

you have to get an ACD downpipe (usually called evo 9)

Evo 8 downpipe is a lot straighter

Evo 9 downpipe has bends to clear the ACD
