Pulled code: Please Help
Anyone know what P0243 is? I couldn't find out what it was after it was pulled. Thanks in advance.

I think the problem lies in the vaccum line that leads from the T fitting to the wastegate solenoid. I accidentally put a hole in it i think, but maybe my solenoid is malfunctioning. Right now my car is only boosting 12 lbs, i think the hole is bleeding off some of the air.

Not relying on the pos stock boos solenoid for control would be a good step, not bashing here but omg that thing began malfunctioning within the first 4 or 5 months of me owning the car.
Kam how's everything going man? I was in Houston for the weekend for a funeral, wish I could have had time to meet up with ya.

have any of you guys disconnected your stock boost solinoid after installing a boost controller, if so theres your problem... the solinoid needs to remained pluged into the harness or the ecu will throw a code

Well, disconnecting the hose alltogether will cause overboosting, so cutting a hole in it would probably result in high boost.. if its plugged, it will boost at or near 10psi since that will provide the full signal to the wastegate..
Usually that code results from the solenoid wire being disconnected.. probably a good idea to disconnect the cable and plug it in again just to make sure its seated ok.

So, you had problems with the stock boost solenoid early on. Did you have low boosting problems? What did you do to fix the problem? Did you go to a manual boost controler or replace the solenoid?
This should be in tech.
