this is my advice:

part it out, or keep it until you find a rolling chasis then take all the parts off yours and install in the chasis.

If you want to convert it, it will have to be done in a body shop, you will need to have the dash stripped and firewall cut out and rewelded with a new firewall and all the mounts for steering rack and anything else that hangs off the firewall, this will probably cost you in the thousands, ask advice in a body shop on what they will do and can you assist by doing all the stripping work. Then it will need to be resprayed, more money. Then parts will need to be sourced, get a list worked out to do the conversion and ask the body shop for advice. Most guys on here wont be able to give you exact advice so dont get all worked up from posting on the net there will be alot more bigger issues in the future if you take the project on.

by the way just google firewall and anything else you need to find out, start to understand all the components that are associated with the firewall the steering

but if all the parts are in good nick in the car really think about finding a rolling chasis as an alternate project

good luck

sometimes in my country get imported only front of car like if you cut car in the middle and send only front part.

and from those cuts only engine is removed and sometimes suspension dash and steering rack are mostly there, so would that be enough?

It needs special care because it separates the cabin of the car from the engine bay. Keeps the Hot temps away from the driver and also if there was a engine compartment fire it gives you time to get out of the car.

Everyone here has already told you that you should just leave this up to the shop. But in my own opinion this is very stupid to do. But to each their own.

It will cost you a lot of money to do this and with that amount of money and time that you will invest into it just to change the steering wheel is pointless. Put the money into the motor and you won't regret it.

I am not trying to be smart or an ***, but you should just stop asking the questions and do some research on what a firewall is and what it does, along with with all the other parts that you will need to replace, like your steering rack and so on.

Please just pay the money for a real shop to do this.... And if you already have a shop that said they would do this why are you asking questions here, i would ask the shop these questions....

Look if you do not know what a firewall is and don't understand why it would have to be changed to make this conversion you defiantly do not have the skills to do this work. Not trying to be mean just being honest. Did you consider moving to a RHD city? Ok so that was a joke... good luck!

thats one way you might be able to do it, obviously countries have laws around cutting cars up and putting them back together, you will need an engineering certificate to ensure the car remains structurally within spec.
Start by searching for a body shop and give them a call on different ways to do the conversion

This would be cool, but I bet it would be a disaster trying to make it work right.
