I'm trying to build me another 2.4lr for my Evo 8 and I ran into this. I purchased a 87mm hg from Map but it doesn't seem to be correct. I've tried to search but no help and it's been a while since I've built a 2.4. My question is if this is the correct hg. The oem one seems to have about 3 more holes than the power enterprise one

Yeah that gasket does not appear to be correct... I always use the Cometic from English Racing or a Cosworth 87mm gasket... I have a spare Cosworth at the house just in case...

 

Yeah I mean I'm just confused because Map keeps telling me it's the correct one but the holes circled would be left open with this head gasket.

 

probably for the wrong 4G64, no?

 

Perhaps for a 2G 4g64... not sure though...
