Clutch will not disengague

I deployed and my evo had to sit through 6 long months. I planned on doing complete overhaul when I got back: engine build, suspension, mini bat kit, new turbo kit, paint job....everytjing. So it kinda just Sat there for 6 months. When I got back the battery was dead as expected. But once I got it running the clutch dose not disengage anymore. What could have happened over 6 months outside to cause the clutch to just quit doing what he is paid to do?

is the piston being pushed into the lever on the bell housing? I can't see how the clutch would totally fail from lack of use

Yes the piston moves the lever on the housing. Not sure if it's all the way. But if defiantly moves

I took the rubber thing off the top of the trans and you can see the trans spinning when the car is running. When you press the clutch the lever on bell housing moves but clutch keeps spinning. Everything feels normal with the clutch pedal, clutch has 700mi on it. Professionally installed by evo dynamics.ran fine for 700mi then I parked it.

I think those instructions are for a rear-wheel drive car, since it says to leave the 2 front wheels on the ground. For AWD, you will need to get all 4 wheels off the ground with jack stands. And obviously, will not be able to try the last technique with releasing the seal on the floor jack.
