two concerning questions

1.) Noticed that my engine temp gauge is significantly lower than normal. Usually it gets up to about 45 to 50%. Lately it's been around 25 to 30% even after long distance travels. What could be the cause of this.
2.) When my engine is cold and I just start it up, my gas peddle sticks. Their are times in which I have to stomp as hard as I can to unstick the pedal. What is the deal with that?
Any suggestions I will appreciate very much.

1. When I was in Japan, they sold thermostats that would open at temperatures the customer prefers. When was the last time you changed or inspected your coolant?
2. Sticking gas pedal? In addition to egis said, probably corroded cable, or maybe its sticking at the throttle body?

1. Thermostat
2. Spray degreaser on a paper towel and wipe out the throttle body bore were the throttle plate closes. Leave the throttle plate as is.

Thermostat is stuck. Replace with a stock one not one of the mishimoto colder ones. It will mess with your warm up closed and open loop operation.

T cable must have some type dirt or something in it. You can try to lubricate it but i would just replace it, you don’t want it to stick going down the road! Also try cleaning around the throttle body blade like stated above.
