Hey just wondering what everyone is using for transfer case, 5 speed transmission, and rear diff fluid in 2006 evo 9? I have looked it up a little it seems most people use oe Mitsubishi fluids just wondering if there is any other brands of fluids people use.

I run OEM in everything but the tranny. Have the redline cocktail in it, it improved shifting for me, but I have a worn out tranny. OEM seems to be the safe bet.

Ask 5 people what transmission fluid they run or recommend and you'll get 4 different answers.

I run amsoil. i've tried oem, redline cocktail and amsoil. liked amsoil the best but there's really not much of a difference between them

I used Shell Helix diff oil in my evo 6 and i found no problems. But I have always used OEM Oil in my 9 as long as its no cheap home brand oil and is a good name it will normally be fine
