Wink Noob with evo 4 😝

I recently imported a evo 4 and am looking for lots of advice and have many,Many questions. I'll start off by saying its a import 1996 from Japan. Irs all stock besides the few am body parts and small things I've ordered (oil cap, tubing and vacuum hose.) going to be ordering a 3inch map down pipe. Also want to keep street legal...

To start off with the first question. How much would it cost me to build a reliable daily 500hp evo. I would do all (most of the work) and what is needed.

2. I'm thought about swapping to a newer evo model engine dew to my huge fear of dreaded crank walk. Unless there is a better more cost effective way. (Keeping reliability in mind) What is direct bolt in and what do you think would go best with my 500hp goal.

3. I've been looking at turbo's and read a fair bit on the green turbo and a hks7240r one but ive read that the has won't quite reach my 500hp goal.

4.recommended posts and threads for me to read to learn? I'm all about learning and exploring different builds.
