My 06 is getting built!

Hey all,
I have been lurking on here for quite some time and have been apart of the dsm community for much longer. I just wanted to post up and say how freaking excited I am!

I will be taking my Evo 9 from Denver to Chicago this weekend to have Boostin Performance build it up.

Right now the car is cat back only with around 90k and after doing a few compression tests and leak downs it seems as though the previous owners ran her a bit to hard so the numbers were considerably low. I was wanting to get the car ready to start a few local track days (mainly auto x and pdx events with maybe a couple drag days) and noticed the numbers. So knowing this I convinced my wife (not really convinced more like begged and pleaded) to go out and pull money and find money to rebuild it properly.

For years and years I have always wanted to do a proper build. I hate not having all of the cash in hand to do a build but, I figured this car is worth it so after researching and contacting several places I decided to go to Boostin.

Absolutely cannot wait to get it back!

Currently:
06 Evo MR 6spd with a catback

Here is the list:

Boostin Performance Stage 3 2.0L Long Rod
Includes Wiseco HD Armour Plated High Compression Pistons
OEM Mitsubishi Full Engine Gasket Kit
OEM Mitsubishi Front Case
Water Pump
GSC Race Balance Shaft
Boostin Performance Oil Cooler.
Competition Clutch Stg. 3 Clutch Kit
Boostin Performance Stage 2 Cylinder Head Evo 8/9
Supertech Dual Valve Springs
Supertech Titanium Retainers
New Valves Stem Seals
GSC S2 Cams
ARP Head Studs
Kiggly HLA
Torque Solutions 5 speed Motor Mounts
5 Speed Transmission
Transmission Rebuild
OEM Mitsubishi 5 Speed Shifter Cables
JMF 02 DUMP
Port intake manifold
Port exhaust manifold runner and collector and Turbine Hotside
Turbo XS Down Pipe
Turbo XS Test Pipe
Omni 4 Bar Map Sensor
Boostin Performance Speed Density Intake
FIC 1120cc Injectors
AEM Wideband Gauge
Energy Mustache Rear Diff Bushings
Walbro 450 Fuel Pump w/ Install Kit
Extreme Turbo Systems Lower Intercooler Pipe
Grimspeed EBC
Spark Tech Non Cdi coil on plug

E85 Tune
93 Octane Speed Density ECU Re-flash tune

I am sticking with the Evo 9 turbo for now because this list has tapped me out and my wife will not allow me to take out any more money or loans LOL! But it should be a very fun, reliable, and very good pulling car for a long time. And when the day comes to bolt up a bigger turbo the car will hold it and be even more fun!

So far Boostin has been the nicest people and I cannot wait to see what they do with my little 9!

Chad

It is going to be a whole new car when you get it back!
What rods are going in it?
You will have a solid platform for adding a bigger turbo later on

I didn't think much about the acd pump since I was not having any issues with it prior to the build. And are you talking about re arranging the rear clutch plates? If so yes I will address that once I get the car back.

Also not touching the transfer case for now. I will probably do it next season.
