Stall, wouldnt start, got it running..check engine

Okay evo guys..My evo stalled on me this morning at a stop sign and then turned off. I had to tap the starter to get it to start and now I have a check engine light on. I havent been able to scan it yet to see exactly what code it is. But the idle was low even for having cams and it was sluggish. I am thinking maybe a misfire? Anyone have anything similar to this happen to them?

It was a crankshaft angle sensor..nothing with the boost. STM said to replace the starter sometimes works if not replace the sensor then go from there.

So I replaced the starter today...no change. It gets power...fuel pump is going...just nothing in the starting issue...code was cleared when I pulled the battery cables to change the starter...and still nothing...do you guys think I should just swap out the original thing the code popped for..the crank angle sensor..I searched a little and it looks like I'll have to take off the timing belt cover to get to it..anyone with some experience in this area or had this issue any advice would be greatly appreciated..thanks everyone!
