60k Service: A parts/pricing list, thoughts, and questions

ght it would be helpful to put together a parts and pricing list from my research. The stickied maintenance tables and fluid part numbers are a bit dated and some of the part numbers have been updated. I'm doing a bit of price research with pricing from 2-3 sources in order to get a good idea what the price landscape looks like on each part - I have no affiliation with any of them, although I have ordered from mitsubishiparts.net in the past.

To be clear, my car hasn't been driven much (I'm only at 22k miles total) and has only really had oil changed out regularly (and diff/tcase fluids done once) so I'm really interested in doing a pretty thorough (as opposed to kind of a bare minimum) kind of job.

From what I've gathered, the 60k service is composed of replacement/flush of:

-Water Pump (1300A067) - $224.66 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $249.95 @ lancershop | $219.99 @ JNZTuning
-Balance Belt Tensioner (MD352473) - $46.83 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $59.95 @ lancershop | $45.99 @ JNZTuning
-Balance Belt (MR984778) - $31.69 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $44.95 @ lancershop | $31.45 @ JNZTuning
-Timing Belt (1145A038) - $81.26 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $96.95 @ lancershop | $79.99 @ JNZTuning
-Timing Belt Tensioner (MR984375) - $120.49 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $148.95 @ lancershop | $117.99 @ JNZTuning
-Timing Belt Tensioner Pulley (MD369999 ) - $37.58 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $51.95 @ lancershop | $36.99 @ JNZTuning
-Timing Belt Idler Pulley (MD156604) - $40.18 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $53.95 @ lancershop | $39.49 @ JNZTuning

All parts included in ET9K @ mitsubishiparts.net @ $495.53 ($87.16 cheaper than buying parts individually from mitsubishiparts.net)

-Transfer case fluid
-Rear diff fluid

2x MZ320345 : 1qt Diaqueen LSD Fluid - $11.55 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $58.95 @ lancershop | $14.50 @ MAPerformance
or
$44.14 for 4L (3775610) @ mitsubishiparts.net

-Engine Coolant

MZ311986 : 1 gal LONG LIFE COOLANT

$17.56 @ discountmitsubishiparts.com
$20.13 @ mitsubishiparts.net

MZ320125 is a super-long life coolant, but I'm not sure it's appropriate for use on an Evo IX but I thought that it might be reasonable for a very rarely driven car. Any thoughts?

-Spark Plugs (need 4)

1822A022 : NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plugs / Heat Range 7 (ILFR7H / Evo IX)

(15.25 ea) $61 @ mitsubishiparts.net
(10.68 ea) $42.72 @ Amazon.com
$69 @ MAPerformance

Most people don't seem to be replacing the hoses so I'm not quite sure what the part numbers are, so I'm trying to make educated guesses (am I missing anything?):

-Radiator Hose

1370A098 : HOSE,RADIATOR,LWR
$18.65 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $29.95 @ lancershop
MR464621 : HOSE,RADIATOR,UPR
$18.89 @ mitsubishiparts.net | $29.95 @ lancershop | $18.60 @ mitsubishipartssource.com

-Heater Hose

7805A088 : HOSE KIT,HEATER W
$37.26 @ mitsubishiparts.net
$50.95 @ lancershop

-Air Purifier Filter

MR398288 AIR REFRESHER ***

$24.42 @ mitsubishiparts.net
$23.21 @ mitsubishiusaparts.com

Lancershop has a PCV valve added onto their 30/60k service kit - is this something that needs replacing? Do I need to buy any other parts if I need to replace this?

MD152772 - Mitsubishi OEM PCV Valve

$23.84 @ mitsubishiparts.net
$24.95 @ awdmotorsports.com
$35.31 @ Amazon (sold by Genuine Parts Warehouse)

Some people seem to be doing thermostat as well - is that worth doing since all the other service is being done?

Also - does the ACD fluid ever need to be replaced? It's never been done on my car.

My car has been sitting around so I'm doing these as well:

-Manual Transaxle Oil

MZ313376 : 1 gal Diaqueen Super Multi Gear 75W-85 (now 3717610 : DIA QUEEN MULTIGEAR EVO 6SPD )

$94.01 @ mitsubishiparts.net
$104 @ STM
$91.99 @ JNZTuning

Of course I'll need the parts to do a standard oil change as well. I think this list is exhaustive, but I have some doubts about not having the complete list of coolant hoses. I'd appreciate any input all the experts around here have.

Can I ask why you're doing the timing belt so soon? Just worried about cracking and rubber lifespan?

You should also replace the passenger side engine mount bracket while you're in there, part # 1091A133. You might not have the squeak now, but since you're in there already this is only an extra $150 and will save you a bunch of time and labor later if you happen to develop the squeal

For the most part yes. I confess that the car sits for the majority of the time - in fact I still have the stock A046s on it (which likely need replacement for the same reasons). I've developed some cold engine squeal semi-lately (not the same as in your video) and I figure it's likely the belts that have deteriorated over time.

The engine mount bracket thing is good to know - I'm probably bringing the car in for the belt change (since I don't really trust my level of mechanical competence to DIY) so it'll end up another part of that job.

My big open questions right now are the coolant hoses, thermostat, and PCV valve. My local dealers don't even seem to know what the full 60k service consists of, hence this long post.

Yeah, timing belt every 60K or 5 years. Hoses are the same. PCV valve - they seem to last forever on these cars. Aftermarket usually won't work. If you do replace it go OEM.

The belt interval for my WRX is 105K. I had less than 60K on the car but was over on time. While doing the timing belt job on this rig I found several things about to fail. Water pump was leaking, one of the pulleys locked up - couldn't be turned manually after being removed from the car and sittting on the bench for a few days and the belt tensioner was leaking fluid.

Anyway, it appears grease in a sealed bearing lasts about the same amount of time whether the car is run or not.
