A lot of lengthy reviews. I'm gonna make mine short and sweet

I've dealt with a lot of tuners via email,
Majority are pretty ****ty. Tom (TSCOMP) does AMAZING work. The minute I loaded my base map I was like "oh wow" idle was smooth, cruise was smooth. This is SD too. We then started WOT and he spent few hours and he dialed everything in. He asks questions to get a feel of what's going on. I was really really happy.

Obviously if there are mechanical issues, tuner can't expect to make magic. You guys need to understand that literally he's one guy and if he's helping one person fixing issue, back logs **** and let's face it, in the car community people want **** now or they dunno wtf is going on. So I personally do empathize his situation. He does his best and he also builds motors, etc.

In conclusion, he's worth the wait, have a bit of patience with him, you will be satisfied in the end

 

I've been working with Tom @ Tscomp for years now and has done multiple evos with me. I can tell you that if u want a built car to run as good if not better than an evo in stock trim he is your man. 32k miles my car is 720whp. I break transmissions not motors thanks to him. Plus he tunes stock ecu flex fuel if you weren't aware. Tscomp is worth every penny!

I've been reading and researching on this forum for years, and I too was surprised at the turn this thread took because I'd never heard a peep negative about Tscomp Tom.

beyond your word -- how about you post a screen shot of your paypal to him.

That would at least establish your claim -- then it would be up to tom to prove otherwise.

This thread is about feedback... were giving our feedback. Clearly your having problems with TSCOMP...take it to him. *****ing isn't gonna get your $400 or magically have a tune. You gave your opinion earlier and Tom addressed it, now talk to him via PM and get it resolved.

 

I appreciate the feedback in here (I am lost for words. You guys are awesome!). I will respond to other things separate. Also support people who support evom. I pay good money to be on this forum and I think its worth it to do so.

If others aren't paying why should they benefit from its powerful ability to advertise?

Also I've never took someones money and never did something in return. That isnt me, and never will be me. Some do that unfortunately, but I do not and never will.

 

You were going to send me another $100 for a E85 map. That's one of the last emails from you.

I also helped you diagnose a ton of stuff, sold you a cam angle sensor which made your car run again, and spent a lot of time with you diagnosing stuff.

Do you feel you are still owed a service? You can either get a free tune from me and not wait for it, or you can get 50% of your money back since I do see proof where we did have some communication issues, so I feel you are obligated to receive some of your money back.

You should understand though, at the time we tuned (Yes we did do pulls), My scheduling system was horrible, and I was extremely unorganized. I had sent a lot of refunds that year due to my scheduling system screwing me up. It wasnt that the people were mad, they just couldnt wait for me so they had no choice but to get their money back.

Some of them (quite a few) retuned and then came to me saying they needed my help because the person that retuned the car was not good. lean spike, jitter, bucking cruise low RPM etc.

So I admit my scheduling system was flawed in 2014, but in 2015 its not. I am doing everything in my power to get everyone smooth tunes this year, and knocking cars out in 5-6 hr straight through no delays.

So let me know what you want and ill give you either a partial refund or a full retune. If you are already tuned and are happy with the performance of your vehicle, then I guess I know the answer, but let me know and we will go from there.

Tom is currently tuning my car. I just got some new injectors so we have to revisit the entire tune. The car ran like a champ for the past 6 months or so after he fully tuned it prior. No issues at all and ran very smooth from idle to WOT.

Ill admit sometimes the emails are delayed, but as he said he is working towards better organization and an overall better tuning process. I will give my feedback post this current tune as to how it went.

he's done all my cars for the past six years or so. i've never had an issue with any of them, and yes: i beat up on them regularly.
