Also i never declined a refund to anyone before If I never gave them a basemap or any kind of work.

I am here for hte customer not myself. I'll take a loss to protect my name/reputation before I do to profit off someone elses loss.

If you knew me as a person personally you would know im a very humble person, yet competitive, however I don't bloat or lie about anything I do.

Im a very genuine person, and at the age of 33 I really rather just be giving people good tunes, not on here defending myself like this.

I have way more happy customers then unhappy. I have remote / email tuned over 1,000 evos in under 6 years.
You're more then welcome to make it right. I never used my forum name in any of the emails that I sent to you.

The last email I have is saying that you were going to have a look at the tune and get back to me.....that was last year. You'll remember if I send you the email string.

The car will be back on the road in a few weeks, so if you want to finish the tune you can. Otherwise I'll continue on with other plans.

If I did nothing with you at all then yes you will get your tune. Please send me an email at tscompusa@gmail.com or tom@tscomptuned.net and put in the subject "Teal2nnr"

and I will dig up your info and we will go from there.

I believe that if anyone wants to recommend any ''email tuner'' to the op it is better to talk about his own experience with his own car. Talking about any tuner that tuned someone else car you don't even know, its a crime.

I was very disappointed from my local tuner - dyno tuning so I wanted to try something else. After some research I decided to go with tscomp. And so I did tune my car with Tom. Not only he did a perfect tune on my car, that runs smooth with great power, he also advice and explain many things to me.

He did exactly what I wanted him to do, and believe it or not I didn't even knew what I wanted that time from my car, but after talking with Tom, he guided me to understand my car potentials and also the limits.

We had a very good communication via emails and also via skype. I also bought a few parts from him on great price.

Tom have a very good knowledge of evo's and he is a master in tuning. It is not easy to remote tuning but this guy can do it with confidence. And if he says that your car has fuel issues then you better check it out cause he is never bul****.
Of course it takes time to remote tuning your car. I consider my self lucky that it took Tom a week to tune my car and not 5-6 hours. He wanted to tune it in detailed. If want your car to finished as soon as possible with a crap tuning that will give problems in the future and you just want to see the final numbers then tscomp is not for you.

I am very happy with my car even after many months of tune with Tom. I already paid Tom for my friend's car to be tune. I will upgrade some parts on my car and I will tune with Tom again.

I don't even know where to begin but want to keep this short, I said try. I've been "around the block" with tuners since 2003 when I bought my car. My car was part of many tests for parts you use today and in the process was tuned by many tuners many which are no longer in the business. It makes me sick when I say I'm on my 4th Engine rebuild, each one tuner/builder failure but they gave me some BIG numbers, and drove like crap. I always through well its modified that's the name of the game, WRONG.

Tom on the other hand is a genius, there is no other way to put it. My last tuner who is a very reputable tuner since 2008... its very hard for me to change tuners. This previous tuner was great in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, however he stopped doing much of the work and had his guys doing the work, seemed like he was focused on volume. He also just gave me clone upgrade recommendations which were great in 2008, and fixed many issues from previous builders. More recent times this tuner's focus and business model changed so I decided to leave after I started running into issues. I was furious, days off wasted which I don't have as a very busy professional, and days with the wife wasted with numberous attempts for him to correct his tune.

So I took a leap, actually this tuner said give him a try! So I decided to give Tom a try after seeing many posts on SD, and drivability videos. My previous tuner blamed the ported intake manifold, TB, SD, basically blamed me (claimed it was a bad idea). Car was stalling trying to cross the street, it was unbelievable, $800+.

So I contacted Tom told him about my issue and although busy he fit me in. Let me tell you the first flash he sent me solved the "crossing the road issue." Then 15 flashes, and 4-5hr later the difference was unbelievable. It;s like breaking up with an ex and looking back and saying why was I with that nut?!!?!? I even had Evo friends telling me the same stories and no no this "gilfriend" was great. After he showed me the tune (from the previous tuner) and the knock settings it was unbelievable, the high, mid, low knock settings were turned off, very high settings! From showing other evo friends and tuners they were shocked on the aggressiveness of the tune I had previously. They all said it looks like the previous tuner was trying to blow up your engine, it was absolutely insane. I'm sure I'll cover this in another thread of my own down the road.

Tom after the 3rd pull told me something is wrong! He tuned around it in the mean time but we could not get the boost under control, would set it at 32 some times would hold to redline other times would only hold 25, 28... it was all over. SO after 5 hours and all those flashes Tom said there has to be a leak. I did a boost leak test identified MANY boost leaks, how the previous tuner did not find these (a day earlier, and re-tuning it for a week) is beside me.

Another round of flashes a few days later it was better, well almost... Still was all over but not as bad clearly a problem Tom said. So I put the car away that night planning to do a compression test the following day. I started my car in the morning and the timing belt snapped and now I was in a real mess. Again I'll cover this in another thread in the near future. I contacted Tom and he said I knew something was wrong. He said don't worry I'm busy but I'll fit you in, if you want me to rebuild your engine. A few weeks later shipped him my car and in between his current builds fit me in ripped the engine out and found all sorts of issues, amateur mistakes, and band-aids all over... made me sick... the mistakes and issues went on and on.

So back to keeping it short, Tom is world class, I'd put him up against any tuner any day, not only for power but drivability that I haven't seen since it was stock in 2003. He always answers me back when I message him, his schedule is insane and works crazy hours but keeps me updated with Pictures all the time. He is all about "quality" not volume. He personally spends many many hours making sure its right to your liking not just his. Does it take more time yes, but I've learned a great deal, and he taught me a long along the way.

Everyone says their tuner is awesome, but they say that about their girlfriend, and well Hitler at one point in time, but a lot of them are lying not only to you but themselves. So rather then me say the same, play the field, I know who you'll settle with because the results and drivability speak for themselves. Take any tune then get one from Tom you'll see!

If anyone wants details feel free to PM me, don't listen to this propaganda, and lies of people trying to take Tom down for what ever reason is beside me.

I'd recommend Tom to tune anyone. He has been tuning my car for years now on 3 different turbos and I have not had any problems at all! I really hope he stays in our community because I have no interest in dealing with anyone else. You can view my threads, my car runs like a dream and I'm all the way in the Cayman Islands! We hardly have great mechanics here much less tuners so everyone on island is always impressed with my car after I get it tuned by Tom. I've also ordered lots of parts from him and have had no issues on that end either. Right now I'm almost finished doing a great 2.3L build to go along with my FP Red that he tuned last year so will have more research results to share soon!

As most of the other posters have already stated Tom is one of the best if not the best tuners out there right now for our platform. I've even personally dealt with the best evo guys in the game(I won't drop names outta respect), and their tunes have not even been remotely close to the perfection Tom puts into his customers cars. I've been with him for over 3 years now, and still refuse to go with anyone else. Even if he is busy and is unable to completely tune your car to its maximum potential, he will 100% make sure that you have a car to drive and drive well.

I can't say much more about the guy, he's helped me out multiple times. But yeah, you should definitely go with TSComp!!!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Really didn't expect those kind of responses.

I also refunded Hutch since last I posted, and completed Nick F's car, which is the one that guy was referring to when he was talking bad about me.

Nicks final graph is;

Which I suspect has some internal wastegate adjustments we can make to strengthen those numbers substantially based on the boost curve. The vehicle was around 90% WGDC and could not surpass that boost, so i know there's more in it. Nick is investigating based on data I gave him and we willsee if theres more left after he is done his end. (EF4, S2, FIC 2150cc, full blown dp, stock ecu sd, Built 2.0L, etc)

Teal2mr I'm going to send you a PM, id like to get you straightened out as well.

Go with Tscomp tuned. Everyone has their own opinions about him with his service and what not, but end of the day, he has a great reputation for successful tunes and the customer always leaves happy.

I had another tuner in the states, i won't mention the name or company, but it took him 7 weeks to tune my car and the car wasn't even fully tuned. it had its fair share of problems. That tuner maxed my car out at 385whp and was detecting knock so had to turn it down to 375. Believe me as well, the tuner is well known and everyone would be shocked.

Thats when i decided to seek for a new email tuner. I tried contacting Tom in the past and yes he is a very busy man as everyone wants his tune so i wasn't getting a reply from him either, but if you wait long enough and do all you can to get his attention, book a time for a tune with him and pay for the tune before booked date, he will be there on time for the tune.

Tom tuned my car today, total tune time was 5 hours including little mucking around trying to fix something that was broken from the word go, i made no changes to the car apart from changing fluids and he managed to extract another 40whp out of the car and maxing out my fuel pump, with an upgraded fuel pump, i shall see even more power. I decided to leave the mods exactly how they were with both tuners to prove to my self which tuner was the better tuner and it is clear who got the tune done faster, made more safe power and detected no knock at all, while making more power than the old tune.

Tom is a very good tuner and once you manage to book a time to tune with him, he won't dick you around and will pull through to leave you smiling. Thanks Tom

I dont know where to chim in onto this. Eventhough i have not yet been able to get a remote tune setup with tom. I believe he is one of the few people that can get our evo's running right. Alot of tuners claim they can do this and that but they are too busy and can not deliver. People should appreciate your abilities and stop trying to prove a point. I need your help tom. I need that Fitronic Flex Fuel!!!
