Ive just bought a Hallman Pro RX Manual Boost Controller and have since heard rumours of manual boost controller problems - things such as over boost and spikes?

Is this something I should be wary of and avoid? (i.e. buy an electronic controller?)

 

I know tons of people with them.....they are great if you aren't serious about tuning ECU Boost.
They hold peak psi well but lack the ability to taper or accurately open an close the wastegate based on varying load conditions.
So if your looking for a cheap,reliable,and easy to use product it will work out

But if you ever start pushing serious boost, or want more control you will just end up buying one anyway

In the Evo world its expensive and time consuming the first time, but the second time will cost you morein both ways....and shave years off your life due to stress
