imo you should not shoot for a number. remember that the dyno is simply a tuning tool utilizedto mimic street conditions. i would shoot for best broadest torque and powerband. btw, what do you intend on doing with the car? DD, Drag, Track, AutoX?

to answer your question: this is what i would do
-need bigger injectors
-double pumper or better fuel pump
-some valve spring upgrade
-ditch the HFC for a TP or get the Buschur Full TBE
-tranny (depending on torque)
-clutch (depending on torque)
-a badass tune from a badass tuner
-maybe you might need some e85

A double pumper is not necessary Full Blown has a new Fuel pump that will flow enough for 787hp at 75 psi (42 base plus 33psi boost) . FB340 but that setup 1000 cc wont get you there you need 1200s at least.

I’d look into going with a walbro 485 and an exedy twin so you don’t lost too much drivability depending on what you want to do with the car

That 485 is a universal pump and I dont think it will fit in a stock evo pump assembly
