Are you on SD or MAF? If MAF I recommend the Cobb DV. Easy to use, holds boost for days, and doesn't sound obnoxious

One that works.

Seriously there is no "best" If you arent tuned for speed density then anything that recirculates. If you like the cool BOV sound (I'm a ricer at heart) then get one that is dual (recirc's and vents to air). If you are VTA then really anything you want to buy.

I'm running a turbo smart.

Just get a TiAl Q (VTA) or QR (Recirc.), depending on the application. It will hold anything you throw at it.

You can get the sound you want by testing out the springs that come with it. The spring you choose dictates when the BOV will open at a certain intake pressure (force on the spring)...if I'm not mistaken, to get a dramatic flutter sound you will want to use a lower psi spring than what is needed.

I like the synapse valve personally and run speed density, so no recirc. Honestly I feel like the best valve I ever had was the stock one. Best driveability by far, but it only really works well at stock power levels and a little above. For high power I like the synapse.

gready type rs on my evo 5, its vta but has the adjustment cranked almost max tight, get a real loud psh at high boost levels, usually a nice Vututututu at lower rpm.

Tial or Turbosmart. I have been using my Synapse and I am fed up with it.

One people seem to overlook is the TiAL QRJ, I'm not sure if there's a reason but it's a more purposefully designed BPV that you can also VTA. The thought process behind it sounds good so I picked one up, it's TiAL so it should do well I would imagine

Tial QR if you're going to continue recirculating.

Tial Q if you're willing to go speed density.

Here is a video of my car with Tial Q. Note, this isn't full boost, ~10-15psi

It sounds exactly like my old Turbo XS recirc, but maybe post a comment in the video or PM the owner of the vehicle instead next time :P
