Bone stock 1/4 mile time in an evo with a sunroof

Can anyone tell me their results in the quarter with an absolutely bone stock evo with a sunroof, just curious how much slower it might be with the added weight. I finally broke mine in and acceleration feels wonderful, but it will be a couple of weeks before I can get to the track, just curious on others times with the roof, THANKS!

My time is in my sig and pics of the timeslips are in my profile. Took some practice to get those times but I think it's possible to see a 12.9.

Thanks for the link, anyone else care to share stock 1/4 time and trap speed with sunroof? As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to affect acceleration or handling much at all however, I understand one without a roof will edge it out, but it just doesn't seem as much as I expected. Backroads are a blast with the roof, the trees the sun and the evo what else could you ask for! By the way, I weigh 225 and am 5' 9"gtr, built like my evo, short and stocky lmao.

Come on guys, I know there is more than one other evo w/ a sunroof that can give their 1/4 time and trap speed! Or, maybe there were just 2 evo's sold in U.S. with sunroofs, gtr's and mine! Please post some numbers or slips so I can get some ideas what other members ran bone stock.

Hi,

You need to give the members more than 2 1/2 hours before you lament a lack of response. Sunday afternoons are slow plus I'm not sure the replies will be of much value. The additional weight of the sunroof is not enough to make much difference taking into account different tracks, different cars, different drivers, different atmospheric conditions, different tunes and luck.

Thanks speedlimit, I was not trying to be abrasive, I was only hoping for some more replies. I am sure people are out driving and relaxing, I was only hoping to encourage some posts. Anyway, I am sure that my outing to see what I can run at E-town will be a blast, I am just looking for apples to apples comparative data. L8R

Absolutely sick, 12.994 at what trap speed, what was your 60'. One hell of a job man. I tried to launch today and finally found the sweet spot with throttle blips at 45-5000 rpms, when done correctly you get no clutch smell and a rocket start. I only tried 3 times to get the feel for it, won't do many more for fear of no clutch, I will wait for the track for launching.

No problem! The closer you get to 12.99 the happier you should be. Most Evo's at sea level run in the mid 13's on 93 or 94 octane gas. There are a couple of stock Evo's here that have hit 12.9xx but that is the exception. Have fun at Englishtown and let us know your results!
