Are you tuned for speed density?

Did you contact the "tuner"? What did he/she say? Did the car throw any code/check light?

The tuner is no longer available. It was tuned very long ago. No codes or check engine light. I was thinking maybe the iac valve? I also have a cop, but not sure what plugs to use. The cop can help with idle correct?

The car idles normally at 1,000 rpms. The A/F ratio ranges between 14.5-15. It usually stays around 14.7. When the idle fluctuates, A/C on it goes to around 800 rpms. The A/F ratio is around 11. When I am cruising at a maintained speed, the A/F is around 14.7, when its in boost and at WOT it is around the high and low 11s.

Also, the tial BOV I have is supposed to be recirculating from what I've heard. Is there supposed to be a connection from the BOV to the SRI? Because it does not have the connection.

Sound like your Idle Air Control is going out. MY Evo was kind doing the same. There's tread about the IAC and test you can do on youtube. I brought a IAC off the evom forum at $85, brand new it cost around $430. Let me know if you need more help! MY car was basically stalling at red light or at a stop sign, the problem got worse and would just stall while driving!

Yes, help would be appreciated. I can't get a hold of an iac. The oem one is very costly. Can someone give me a link?

This should help it come from another member of evom and from an Evo 8. The seller is asking to make an offer. I would rather go with an IAC made for and EVO than a cheap replacement. I did that first and the car idle was all over. then I would get the high idle engine light malfunction. Good thing I had order from someone on the forum. It easy to replace just take your time. PM me if you need more help.

So, the car still has been shutting off. I found out the ignition fuse keeps blowing. I have to keep replacing it about 5 times a day if I have to drive the car. I noticed that after I put the COP in (spoolin up) this problem has been happening. I have my old coil packs, but the only thing is I threw out the old spark plugs. I am unaware of what the gap was. I bought numerous plugs, none worked. The car knocked on every single trial. I bought 3 different plugs. All 3 plugs worked with the COP. I have also replaced the IAC. I also thought the stock ground wires were fouled, so I bought a new grounding kit (hks). After a straight hour of driving the car shuts off with a 15 amp fuse. With a 20 fuse in there, it shuts off in about 2 hours of straight driving. I also cleaned the battery terminals, as I was reading corrosion can cause the car to stall. I even tried to gap the plugs to every gap possible. No change. Can anyone help me?
