No.

I bought it to drive it, not to worry about it like a fu(king pu$$y.

In any parking lot I always avoid other vehicles as best as possible. Any carts too I will strategically park away from them. I try not to leave it untended for long periods of time in public as well.

If we go somewhere to eat and we take the evo I try to make sure we watch it from where we end up sitting. I always keep the interior as clean as possible for the most part too.

I am also very particular about who I let ride in the car. I literally hate anyone riding in the car except my wife. I love to take her in the evo, but anyone else I prefer not ride in the evo.

Some of us care for our cars I guess. No need to respond if you have nothing to add. Thx!

Don't confuse your differing POV for me having nothing to add.

I care for all of my possessions, especially my car. However, I do not put it on a pedestal to be looked at and never enjoyed in the way that it was meant to be.

Some of these guys would be better off letting the car go to somebody who enjoys it for its intended purpose instead of biting their nails when another car parks near it or when *gasp!* it gets a fleck of dirt on its precious economy car paint.

Yeah folks have differing views on this. For me I could care less about the paint or little dings. The maintenance work is more important IMO. Only 2 shops touch the car for maintenance work and both of them I trust....so I never worry about sitting around and watching them work on the car. Personally that would be a big flag for me...if you don't trust folks to work on a car unless you sit there and watch them, you probably shouldn't take the car there in the first place. With the airbag recall I'm seriously considering just getting the part and letting my shop do the work.

Both of my cars were daily-ed (the VIII is now track/weekend only) and the VIII has driven in everything from downpours to snow (X arrived in late spring so hasn't seen much of either). Bought them to drive them. Some folks buy them to show them off...to each their own.

I live in italy and am too paranoid about taking it for an over night drive where I have to park it at a hotel/mass parking. Cars are CONSTANTLY being hit here in parking lots and people just drive away. People can't drive for **** here and the parking lots/stalls are sized for small cars/maximum spaces for parking. Plus people are constantly going up to it to check it out while it's parked and they constantly touch it. WTF. Don't touch my car. I take my beater SUV on road trips/shopping. It's got scratches/dings all over it like it's been a hunting truck even though it's the same age as my Evo.
