Does Retune needed when going with 02 dump???

My car is already tuned making 355/330 with basic bolt ons but im thinking about changing out my aftermarket 02 housing with 02 dump.
Will I have to retune the car?
My guess is yes to get most out of it but if I don't tune it will it hurt the current tune?
Is 02 dump even worth it?
I will tune it later for sure once I do more mods but I just don't want it to hurt the power that the car is already making if that makes sense, thanks guys.

If you just do an exhaust dump I would think you'd be just fine.

If you are talking about the intake for some reason, then yes you will need a retune.

I would just get all my parts then throw them on when I know im ready to tune.

im with you on that and that's exactly what I've done before but its just right now its perfect opportunity for me to change it while im working on something and I have perfect access to change it now instead of doing it later.

aside from crazy loud noise how much HP would I gain? Im just debating if I even need it.

I picked up almost 20whp by making the switch from a Titek 02 housing to a Muse 02 dump. Also picked up torque and spool by eliminating the back pressure that a recirculating setup causes

If you are going with an o2 dump like the JMF one that still utilizes the IWGA then I would say no, you do not need a retune. If you are getting one like the MAP CompGate 40 that uses an EWG then you at least need a retune just to make sure your boost levels are the same. For optimal gains a retune would be wise though. When I was on stock setup with the FP Black my tuner could not go higher than 27psi without getting knock/detonation on 93oct. When I switched to the MAP CompGate 40 with EWG he was able to raise it to 30psi before knock/detonation. That was the only change I made.
