I need some help here

When I use the car for a long time there is a moment where it fails, it loses power. If I press the gas pedal it reaches 2000 rpm and drowns. The car fails as it is in 2 cylinders then there is a moment when it turns off. if I try to start the car it doesn't start. I need to wait for it to cool down for about 5 minutes then I try to start it again and this time it works but after a few minutes the same issue happens. If i want to run the car again I need to wait for it to cool down completely then it works fine again. It only happens if I use the car for a long period of time without turn it off. What could it be?

Its an Evo 4, only mods K&N air filter and Aeromotive Gas Pump
