I found my boost leak.........

Yeh so I was boost leak testing and could hear air leaking around the thottle body shaft.....I was starting to look up how much milspec seals were etc, so I thought I'd do one more test before I ordered them at 25 bucks a seal.....so I cut a piece of garden hose and stuck it to my ear and with the other end....prodded it around the throttle body so I could hear exactly where the leak was from, strange but it now appear to be coming from just below the throttle body, I put my hand under the throttle body and suddenly felt a hose with air coming out of it....holy sh++ I almost pulled the thottle body off and went to all that trouble.

Well finally got to the bottom of it, so the EGR valve has a rubber hose coming out of the bottom of it and it goes up and into this t section, half way up this hose there is a crappy plastic joiner and the joiner had broken and the hoses were seperated I bent the hose with air coming out of it and instant my boost test started working and pressure built up....so for anyone else, I have found a thread on here to describe it

look down the page at diagram 17-8 you will see the EGR with a tube coming off it called B that connects to Y and you will see a little square in between them, well thats a weak plastic joiner and mine was broken in half, I'm going to replace it with a aluminium joiner and get the thing back together again.......I wonder how much power I was losing from this
